Toronto Humane Society launches new Taylor Swift campaign to inspire local cat lovers

The Toronto Humane Society is celebrating the arrival of Taylor Swift with a unique cat adoption campaign inspired by the singer.
The charity has welcomed seven new kittens, Kelce, Reputation, Dorothea, Benjamin, Taylor, Karma, and Travis, all named after some of Swift’s famous lyrics and themes.
These kittens join 10 shelter cats, Folklore, Red, Midnights, Willow, August, Evermore, Champagne, Swiftie, Marjorie, and Cornelia, who have also been named as a tribute to the singer.
Melissa Shupak, director of animal sheltering at Toronto Humane Society, said they are thrilled to offer this homage to Swift’s music and love for cats.
“It’s our way of connecting her influence to a meaningful cause and showing her fans a way they can make a real impact here in Toronto,” said Shupak.
The campaign is meant to inspire local fans to consider her legacy as an artist and animal lover, giving these cats a home.
Toronto Humane Society has sent an open letter to Swift inviting her for an exclusive tour to meet their Swiftie cats and to raise awareness about the importance of adopting.
The charity will also be playing Taylor Swift music in their cat halls in her honour.
The campaign started Tuesday and will run throughout the duration of Swift’s tour dates until Nov. 23.
